@Zé, could you please deploy bs_BA for Browse Happy? I’ve translated one new string.
Also, letters ‘š’ and ‘ć’ are behaving strangely. Could someone take a look at this:

@nacin, Currently, “Copy from original” isn’t working with strings that have plural form. Also, if I reject a suggestion for some string, it won’t be displayed in the untranslated list after that. In order to translate it, you have to do an export or filter by rejected strings.
-
Andrew Nacin
I see individual “Copy from original” links under each string’s box. They do seem to work, but not always. I think it is a bug in GlotPress. I will look into it.
Could you point me to a suggestion that I may reject to test the second part?
-
Kenan Dervišević
This string was translated at some point in the past (status: translated). Then I rejected it’s approved translation. It should have reverted back to being untranslated. Now, if you reject this suggestion, the string won’t be shown in the untranslated list.
This is not something that will happen often, but it has occurred a few times in the past with some languages.-
Andrew Nacin
I think I fixed this in http://glotpress.trac.wordpress.org/changeset/673/trunk/js/editor.js, can you test?
-
Kenan Dervišević
No, still the same. I rejected the string from the link above and now it’s not shown in the untranslated list. I believe it’s not showing there because it’s status is still set as ‘translated’.
-
Andrew Nacin
Definitely a GlotPress bug, but I’m not sure the best way to fix it. Here is the ticket: http://glotpress.trac.wordpress.org/ticket/129. I will ask @nbachiyski to weigh in.
The other bug is fixed. (“Copy from original” now works for plural forms.)

Hello,
I just noticed that administration for bs.wordpress.org is changed back to English (expect the strings in the rosetta-bs_BA). It was completely translated few days ago. Could you please take a look?
Thanks

Ok, fixed it. Give it a little bit to allow for the cache to refresh.

Hello,
I just noticed that untranslated messages aren’t displayed at all when I upload .mo file exported from GlotPress. They should be displayed in English. Here is a screenshot of About page using bs_BA: -

Hello,
Translation for Twenty Eleven isn’t included in the localized build for 3.3 Beta 1. I tried with both methods (svn and directly from GlotPress). Could you please take a look?-
Zé
Build system is misbehaving (having troubles with pt_PT myself). Digging.

Nikolay Bachiyski
@kenan3008, this should be fixed. And it shouldn’t be a problem in future versions.

Everything is working and all translations are in the correct place. Thanks

Hello,
I just noticed that GlotPress exports only translated strings in the .po and .mo files. Untranslated strings aren’t exported at all. Tested with bs_BA in bbPress (only 188 strings are in the .po file) and BuddyPress (235 strings in the .po file).-
Emre Erkan
Select “untranslated” from top filter menu and scroll down. Before clicking export button, select “only matching the filter” option from combobox next to export link. This way you can get only untranslated string in a PO file. I tried this method for Turkish tr_TR and it worked.

Nikolay Bachiyski
It should be all working now. See http://glotpress.trac.wordpress.org/changeset/639
-
Kenan Dervišević
Yes, that did the trick. Thanks
@Emre Thanks for the tip

Hello Zé,
Notification on WordPress.org English forums saying “WordPress forums are also available in…” is missing a link for Bosnian. Currently it just displays “WordPress forums are also available in .” without the name of language based on local settings. It should display “WordPress forums are also available in Bosanski.” where Bosanski should be a link which points to bs.forums.wordpress.org. Here is a screenshot: http://bit.ly/phyyIY

Hello Zé,
Could you add Bosnian language for bbPress and me as a validator? Username is: kenan3008
Thanks

Kenan Dervisevic
Hello,
I was building a new beta1 version of 3.2 earlier today and I noticed that .mo files included in the build are always those from ‘messages’ folder in the Subversion (if they are present there) regardless of which option I choose while building the release (translate.wordpress.org or Subversion). After I have deleted .mo files from the tag I was using for the build, .mo files were pulled from GlotPress. As far as I can tell, .po files are handled correctly. Also, translations for Twenty Eleven weren’t included in the build (tried both options).
-
Daniel Koskinen
I actually noticed that too when publishing the Finnish translation for 3.1. I didn’t report it because I thought Rosetta was simply being slow at picking up the correct translation. But it seems now that it’s a bug.
Kenan Dervisevic
Hello,
Strings for the new default theme named Twenty Eleven are inserted into core WordPress language file for 3.2. Should they be in a separate file or this is some future method of managing translations?
-
Andrew Nacin
They should have their own textdomain and own pot. Any that don’t, we can correct that. (Create a ticket.)
-
Peter Westwood
We need to update the makepot.php script that potbot uses to know about twentyeleven.
-
Kenan
Is it possible to do this anytime soon? Strings are constantly added to the wrong place and it will just create a confusion when the release is ready. If I am correct, only line 146 in the code of makepot.php needs to be changed to include ‘wp-content/themes/twentyeleven/.*’ beside continents-cities and twentyten.
-
Zé
makepot.php has to be changed *too*, but it is not the main place. (makepot.php is a *generic* tool to parse php code and create a .po from the gettexted strings, and is aware of continents-cities and twentyten/twentyeleven, for special treatment)

Hello,
I would like to request a deployment for bs.forums.wordpress.org. Everything is translated and uploaded to svn (1.1 alpha for bbPress is in the trunk).
Also, could you change the navigation links on the forum to this:
Home -> Početna
- Title: WordPress na bosanskom jeziku
Forums – > Forumi
- http://bs.forums.wordpress.org
- Title: WordPress BS forum
Docs -> Dokumentacija
- http://codex.wordpress.org/bs:Početna stranica
- Title: WordPress BS dokumentacija
Download -> Preuzimanje
- Title: Preuzmite najnoviju verziju WordPressa
-
Kenan
There is and underscore between Početna and stranica.
-
Zé
Translations deployed, we are working on those links.
-
Kenan
Zé, I just noticed a few inconsistencies in the translation, could you please redeploy support-forum and wporg-bbpress-theme? Sorry for this.
-
Zé
No problem
-
Kenan
Zé, I still see the old translations. Maybe you forgot to redeploy these files.

Hello,
Could you do something about spamming on bs.forums.wordpress.org? It’s really annoying. Thanks.

Zé
Cleaned, Akismet activated, but it looks like you’re an admin on the forum…
-
Kenan
Yes I am, I tried deleting posts couple of times but as could see there were at least 50 new every day. Thank you very much.

Done, but the font issue continues, let me ask the original designer about it. Looks like a Typekit issue.
Hugo Baeta 4:38 pm on June 18, 2012 Permalink |
Yes, it’s a typekit issue. Apparently that font doesn’t support non-latin characters. I’m working on improving that (because this has happened with several translations) and other details of the site. Will have an update ready to deploy no later than next week
