Translation style guides and glossaries: I created a draft Codex page for Translation Resources. The goal is to improve multilingualization. Would you mind sanity-checking/adding links for your language? Feel free to drop them in comments or edit the Codex draft page. Particularly curious about Dutch, Turkish, and Indonesian resources (did not find any links). I appreciate your help and feedback on this!

For Firefox Add-on, it seems that the Russian community has not had a validator. Could I please have the validator right on http://translate.wordpress.com/projects/atd/atd-firefox/ru/default? Also, on the same topic, what are the primary download locations for this add-on and its localized versions, and are translations deployed automatically (I assume they are but wanted to make sure)?

GlotPress project for bbPress? I am not seeing a bbPress project here: https://translate.wordpress.org/projects although it seems like it would be logical (nice, convenient) to have one. What do you think – pros/cons?

Do the translations approved and stored in GlotPress feed back into http://translate.google.com/? Does Google’s machine translation engine learn from the translations entered by WordPress community volunteers (thus potentially making better suggestions for us in the future)?

Do theme names usually remain untranslated? I spot-checked a few other languages, and it seems as though they are not. Also, theme descriptions don’t seem to be translated either, and I am guessing they are lower down on the priority list. So – treat theme names as “product names” and leave them in English, right?

How often/by what process do translated strings go live in the actual software?

I found only minimal documentation on GlotPress – please point me to a relevant link if this is already explained somewhere else. Bonus question: is GlotPress the preferred localizationLocalization Localization (sometimes shortened to "l10n") is the process of adapting a product or service to a particular language, culture, and desired local "look-and-feel." tool for WordPress (or will it be going forward), and if yes, should there be a central documentation place for it, e.g. somewhere in the Codex?
