    Hi, Zé.
Sanskrit (sa_IN) version of Browse Happy is ready. Can you please deploy it?

    Hi Zé,
Can you please create a sa_IN (Sanskrit) entry in Rosetta project?

What should I do to validate strings on Sanskrit translation of WordPress?
I think I am the only validator for Sanskrit, but I can see no “Bulk” link on top left corner of GlotPress page when I log in. All I can do to this moment is suggest translations but not approve them.

    Hi Zé,

I am just trying to commit the very first strings of sa_IN but all I get here are some svn error messages:

    svn: Commit failed (details follow):
    svn: access to ‘/wordpress-i18n/!svn/act/8d0ce61a-d96e-465f-9e55-7b52327be330′ forbidden

(my svn software is ok, as I’ve committed a plugin yesterday with no warnings or restrictions).
Still using my .org username and password…

    Thanks for any clue

    P.S.:
I suppose Sanskrit files will show up at http://translate.wordpress.org/projects as soon as I manage to commit them, is that right?

No work has ever been done on Sanskrit, as far as I can tell. Can you take a look at http://wppolyglots.wordpress.com/resources/ to get started?

Well. I have installed Subversion on my Mac and now guess I need a sa_IN directory to be created. Can you do that and grant me access privileges?

I’ll need your .org username, please. Also keep in mind that you’ll need a sa.wordpress.org site now.

My . org username is Sanskritforum.

What should I do now to have that sa.wordpress.org set up?

            • 10:53 pm on July 25, 2011 Permalink

I just need the site’s title and description, in Sanskrit. Example:
              Site Title: WordPress España
              Site Description: “WordPress en español”

SVN is setup and you have access.

              Zé,

              Site Title: WordPress भारतम्
              Site Description: संस्कृते ऊर्ध्वप्रेषः

              Thank you for your kindness,

              Zé,
Could you please shorten the title just to ” भारतम् “. I’ve noticed that “WordPress” displays twice at the header in that template.

              Sorry for the trouble!

              No problem, done.

      Ok, Zé! I’ll do it.
      Thanks.
