I’ve just discovered Transifex, an online editor for language files.
Couldn’t find more WP people chatting about it, so I thought I’d start the conversation here.
Check out an example (my project):
https://www.transifex.com/projects/p/wysija/
A few advantages :
- free for open source projects
- makes collaboration easy
- we can pull all the MO real quickly
- versioning
- good support from the team behind it (there are minor bugs)
- open source itself
- no need to install GlotPress or Code Styling
This is the bomb for me. What do you think?

Could you explain what you find better about it over GlotPress?

Good question. But first, some disclaimers:
1. we’re new on Transifex. My experience is 2 weeks old.
2. I’ve used GlotPress only a few times for JetPack over a year ago.
3. Because of the above 2, I tried both again for a comparison
Other Transifex advantages than above, in order of importance:
Little extras that I haven’t used yet:
All features not mentioned above are shared by both, essentially.

Konstatin and Hugo gave me an update on GlotPress at WordCamp San Francisco, yesterday. Feel a little less ignorant today.

Hi guys,
I’ve been using GlotPress for a long time and I found Transifex more powerful and easy to use.
Kim has made a great summary of pros/cons. I feel GlotPress a bit abandoned, and Transifex is growing so I feel really comfortable moving stuff to Transifex
