I requested it as I noticed this message on WordPress translation website at http://codex.wordpress.org/WordPress_in_Your_Language#Urdu_-_.D8.A7.D8.B1.D8.AF.D9.88
“WordPress in Urdu – اردو appears abandoned. If you want to organize an official team, please visit the Polyglots’ P2 with your request.”
I have resources available to dedicate to this effort and I am committed to its completion.

Fair enough. I’ll get ur.wordpress.org started, but I can’t find a .org user by the name of ‘tech.wiz’
