This http://wpdevel.wordpress.com/version-3-4-project-schedule/ says that May 9th is the target release date for 3.4, but clearly we are past that. Is there any updated schedule? I’ve got a plugin client asking me.

Well, we’re in RC2 right now, which means we’re ironing out the final few bugs that people are reporting before giving it a final kick out the door. It’ll probably be soon, but you can install RC2 from here [ http://wordpress.org/wordpress-3.4-RC2.zip ] to test your plugin now to confirm that everything’s still savvy.

Keep in mind that I don’t speak officially here, but my best estimate would be that you’d see RC3 today sometime and release next week (baring anything major)
