Found a bugbug A bug is an error or unexpected result. Performance improvements, code optimization, and are considered enhancements, not defects. After feature freeze, only bugs are dealt with, with regressions (adverse changes from the previous version) being the highest priority.? Create a ticket in the bug tracker.
Want to contribute? Get started quickly with tickets marked as good first bugs for new contributors or join a bug scrub. There’s more on the reports page, like patches needing testing, and on feature projects page.

Our first cycle ended yesterday, and all is well. Follow along with the fun at #19910 in the plugin repo.

Dominik (ocean90) and I have implemented a base UIUI User interface, and have properly sandboxed both the theme preview and the customization controls. Only the target theme can alter the controls/preview, the preview can be independently refreshed, and the controls/preview can communicate with each other.

We’re set to begin our second cycle. A tentative scope:

Develop APIs for adding/previewing/saving individual settings.
Implement custom background (properly, with save).
CoreCore Core is the set of software required to run WordPress. The Core Development Team builds WordPress. integration (decided in dev chat).
Work with the Headerators to implement custom headers.
Begin work on adding menu locations.
