This is the official blog for the core development team of the WordPress open source project. Follow our progress with weekly meeting agendas, project schedules, and the occasional code debate.
Can we set a release date then? I mean we can postpone it again if necessary but it might help to streamline stuff (in fact think that not announcing a concrete date is a passed chance).
I would like to suggest to integrate a trac system for the testsuite so it’s easier to contribute to it. That might help as well that Westi get’s more support while taking care of it.

3.0 Release Date. Do we get it out before Dev-Meeting or not?

This week is a bit early. It won’t be released until mid June. We have yet to announce a string freeze for translators, even.

Sorry I didn’t want to take that away from you. Should I port my tickets over there?

If there are any that are just unit-test tickets yes please.
I think Andrew already ported some over for you
