Thanks for keeping it in sync, I rely on it heavily now that we’re updating our WP book.
It would also be nice to have an official site for hooks, lie this one — or at least an equivalent for trunk
Hooks and filters aren’t documented in sourcecode like phpdoc but some hooks / filters are in codex.

But as you say, it’s partial, and it’s hard which are new in 2.8, in 2.9, in 3.0.
If Adam Brow can do it, there’s no reason this can’t be done officially
