Howdy to new mods @johnparkinson @brashrebel @squarepixel (and @natedriver when he accepts his invite to this blog) I think we are finally ready to do an orientation and get you guys going.

For the moment we don’t have a ton of videos, so there is no great rush. So how about May 30, 2014 9am PDT let’s meet up in IRC in the #wordpress-getinvolved channel for a tour of wordpress.tv and a little Q&A?

In the meantime, please check out the guide we have on approving videos which will get you familiar with that part of the process.

And if for some reason you cannot make the orientation at that time, let me know, and I’ll see if I can find a time that works for all.

The video is excellent. Makes it look very simple.

I put that time down on my calendar. It will actually be my first time in IRC so if you could point me in the right direction I’ll be there with my learning cap on.

I’ll try to join to the IRC chat, but can’t promise, because our monthly local WP MeetupsMeetup Meetup groups are locally-organized groups that get together for face-to-face events on a regular basis (commonly once a month).
