This decision is bound to affect quite a few WCNL 2012 videos as well, it should be pointed out. :-/

  Everyone of the WCNL 2012 videos (that I have seen) have these logo banners. I think it is a dominate part of the video but it does not take away from the presentation.
  
  It is definitely better than lower thirds or even watermarks.

  Its huge and always on the video.. It looks bad than the watermark.. I think we should remove it.

Amnesty time for this too. I’m not wild about it either, but organizers have not received this message consistently, so I don’t feel right about pulling all of the content down out of hand. 🙁 Boo.

  Perhaps with the caveat that we pick video thumbnails that do not show logos?
  
  For this talk I chose one of the presentation stills as a thumbnail, for example.

  Besides those are physical Standee and not logos added while editing the videos.
  Also can we restrain organisers from putting physical baners and standees and etc at the physical venue of the camp (legitimately promoting the sponsors), but of course placement of standees while recording videos matters as a significant portion of the video is covered with front facing standees.
