Well it looks like we’ve hashed this out and watches are synchronized. Next week we are scheduled to meet on IRC and discuss moderating the heck out of WC videos for 2013.

    Thanks, I’ll be able to make it them. I just volunteered for the WordCampWordCamp WordCamps are casual, locally-organized conferences covering everything related to WordPress. They're one of the places where the WordPress community comes together to teach one another what they’ve learned throughout the year and share the joy. Learn more. Atlanta to help with the videos so I hope I can contribute both ways.
    
    From what I can tell all the video editing is done by the individual WordCamps. Can any editing be done by the wptvmods?

    For the time being we’re making all new mods “Authors” and assigning posts that way. If you look in the “Pending” folder, you’ll see several videos that you’ve been made the author of.
    
    For the time being, please preview the posts to watch the videos and make sure there are no producer logos, and no quality issues like bad video or inaudible audio. I’m working on documentation that will guide you through the next steps.

Awesome. Yes we’d love your support and thoughts on how the submission process can be improved.

Correct, ATM video editing is done by volunteers like yourself, and is not a part of our responsibilities as moderators. I also have a background in video, and sometimes wish I could help out in that capacity as well. Perhaps some day we will, but it is not for me to say… 🙂
