Will try and get in today. Have looked at http://webchat.freenode.net/ – how do you translate the Venue you gave into what I’m seeing on the screen? I’ve got:
- Nickname (textbox)
- Channels (textbox)
- Auth to services (checkbox)
as well as a CAPTCHA.

I get no response from irc.freenode.net

Actually have got Chatzilla now – but similar questions – how do I know which netwrok/server to connect to?

  The server is irc.freenode.net. So in Chatzilla just type:
  /server irc.freenode.net
  
  and then once you’ve connected type
  /join #wordpress-ui
  
  to get into the proper channel.

I think 20:00 is a great time. It’s one hour before the coreCore Core is the set of software required to run WordPress. The Core Development Team builds WordPress. team IRC meeting, therefore any concerns can be immediately brought to the core teams attention.

Great day and time. It so happens I have prior engagement (1:00pm – 3:30pm that day) so I’ll be a little on late this first meeting, but it’s fairly unusual to have a conflict in this time frame. I’ll be there. I’ll be a little late, but I’ll be there.
